    Raised letters in relief within a serrated rectangular depression.
    The Directory of American Toolmakers (and several online web sites) contain information about the "Pittsburgh Eagle Foundry" which was founded in 1810 in Pittsburgh. The business was established by Anthony Beelen. They made scales, weights, stoves, kettles, grates, etc. Another possibility is the "Pittsburgh Foundry", established in Pittsburgh in 1804 by Joseph McClurg.
