  • Condition: Accordion is used, it does produce notes in and out & it has keys or buttons & they are layed out somewhat as piano keyboard but it is not a Piano keyboard. this is a very very rare accordion key board possibly even a one of a kind but that is only a guess. This one may work for many players but it is not new and it may not perform like a new unit would, Just so you know. Some of the leathers are curled some are not, the grill I think is a custom grill that may have been made at the factory or perhaps here in Minnesota I doubt we will ever know that. , see pics. Shows some use as any old accordion does. It is working pretty good but not perfect. It appears to be mostly complete. German made collectable instrument don't let this one pass you by !!! Super Rare Sold as is !!!!! No returns Feel free to make and offer.. Truly a one of a kind Hohner instrument in its entirety. Their is what looks like a date from 1925 inside that is how I dated it.

    Description

    VINTAGE HOHNER  ACCORDION PIANO SHAPED KEYS /  BUTTON BOX FOR DISPLAY OR PLAY THIS ONE SHOULD BE ON DISPLAY IN A MUSEUM !!
    The piano style keys are not exactly layed out as a Piano keyboard  but the keys are cut somewhat the same as a Piano keyboard so I cannot really call it a button box nor a piano accordion so I did my best to state what it is.  The treble notes are diatonic meaning you do hear different notes on the push and the pull.
    The actual year it was made is only a guess it had what looked like a date inside of 1925 and the M.Hohner label says made in Germany which you would see on any item from Germany after 1920 and possibly  before 1920.
    The grill is a custom grill with the original owners ? initials present in the grill.   Did Hohner make the grill or was it made later I do not know.  If you know what this accordion is or if you have seen others that are similar please let me know I am a bit stumped on this one.
    Please view the photos carefully as they are part of the description, what you see in photos is the item you will receive.   If you have any questions or need some added info or another photo or 2 feel free to ask. This will make a very fine display item  and it sounds ok right now even though some repairs might be in order.
    The accordion has been recently tested, it does work in and out  and sounds ever note, it could use some work to get it going 100%, Some of the notes are raspy or they burble, I assume the leathers are old, please see description for all the details.   I have played this and it may not be just perfect but I think for many casual players it will be ready to go
    .  It is really more of a collectors piece their are not many if any of these around... And None exactly like this the grill is not stock for sure and I have not seen this type of treble keys on any accordion either...
