This is a vintage original window card style poster for the 1956 movie
Basin Street Revue
.   This was a short film of about 40 minutes that featured the performances by leading African American musical groups and performers of the early 1950s including Sarah Vaughn, Count Basie, Nat King Cole, Lionel Hampton and others.   This window card has the Studio Films Productions logo printed in the lower right hand corner and features a photomontage style design that includes images of Sarah Vaughn, Lionel Hampton, Nat King Cole and Amos Milburn and his band.   Other artists mentioned on the poster include Count Basie, Freddie and Flo, The Clovers and “10 Other Great Acts”.
This vintage original window card poster is printed one only on lightweight cardboard and measures about 22" x 14".  The window card has a small hole of about a half inch on the right side and a small piece off the upper right hand corner neither of which affect text or illustrations and the window card is otherwise fully complete.  This window card has heavy lateral crease across the center from having been folded at one time.  Overall condition is otherwise very good with some toning and moderate handling wear.   Email any questions.  Thanks for looking.
