5 Re-Releases of Classic RKO Movies - 18.5" x 24.5" Posters

Five duotone posters (all 18.5" x 24.5"): re-releases (a guess is in the 1950s) from classic RKO movies, originally released in the 1930s & 1940s:  King Kong (1933 - Fay Wray, Bruce Cabot), Citizen Kane (1941 - Orson Welles), Gunga Din (1939 - Cary Grant), Back To Bataan (1945 - John Wayne), Stage Door (1937 - Katherine Hepburn, Ginger Rogers)
. Printed in the lower corner of the posters is the following: "Copyright RKO Radio Pictures, Inc.  Property of RKO Radio Pictures, Inc.  Leased for restricted use only." These were found when renovating offices at the historic Redford Theatre in Detroit; they were never used and have likely been stored since issued.  Will be shipped for .99 in U.S.;
no shipments outside U.S.

The Redford Theatre opened in 1928 and still has the original Barton pipe organ that is played for one-half hour before each movie.  The theatre was purchased in 1977 and is operated by the Motor City Theatre Organ Society (MCTOS), with an all-volunteer staff.
The Redford Theatre has been continually maintained and renovated by MCTOS since its purchase.
Vintage movies and live events are presented at the theatre approximately every other weekend.  See the schedule of upcoming events and historical information at the theatre's website.
Any proceeds will be used for future maintenance and restoration efforts at the theatre.
