    Description

This listing is for a dash cluster with 140 speedometer, rally gauges, and tic-toc-tach from a 1971 (I believe) AMX.   Would fit into a Javelin as an upgrade but I think only AMX got this cluster.    I can spin the speedo and it seems to work fine but the other gauges are untested so the whole thing is sold as-is.   Clock is missing its adjuster knob.   Gauge faces are surprisingly very nice looking and clean for originals, plastic lens is quite nice for used but not flawless up close, at very close inspection a few marks can be seen in the lens.   The printed circuit on the back has a couple corners where the plastic is starting to lift, that'll need to be dealt with.    The big black plastic dash bezel is cracked through at the radio hole and the crack extends over to the gauge area, you can see it plainly in the closeup pic #7, looks like it may have been glued once before years ago.   I think it could be fixed, once it's glued tightly the repair shouldn't show behind the aluminum overlay, although the black plastic piece could also be sourced from a regular Javelin.   The aluminum overlay piece is from a non-AC car, it shows wear and scratches.   Might be OK for a driver but definitely not nice enough for a show car as-is, not sure how that would be restored.  It is an actual piece of aluminum and not just a sticker.    I'm selling this as-is with no returns since the plastic bezel needs repair, the aluminum shows wear, and the gauges are untested and may need to be serviced.
