HUGE PAIR OF ANTIQUE CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE
PORCELAIN
LIDDED
VASE / JAR LAMPS PAINTED
WITH POMEGRANATES & FLOWERS, REPUBLIC PERIOD (1912 - 1949)
Up for bidding is a
very large pair of antique Chinese porcelain vase / jar lamps with covers.  The jar lamps are
finely detailed
with beautifully painted pomegranates and chrysanthemums in the famille rose colors.  These porcelain jars are from the Republic Period (1912 - 1949).  The bases of each vase have a red double circle mark.  Each vase is very well made.  The pottery is very heavy, so each vase weighs over 15 pounds. The lamps have a convenient dimming feature.  There are no drill holes in the vases.
Condition Report
The porcelain vases are
pre-owned.  One of the vases was
repainted on the mouth
.  Also, there is a
very faint hairline crack on the mouth
as well.  The shoulder of that vase has a discoloration.  Both the hairline crack and the discoloration are very, very subtle.  It isn't easily noticed unless it's being pointed out.
One lid's finial was sanded a little bit
.
The second vase and its lid are in excellent condition.
