"Yellow Submarine", 1968
Original Beatles vintage movie poster one sheet (27x41")
Starring the Beatles
1968 - Yellow Submarine one sheet.
The art work on this original vintage Beatles movie poster is beautiful and our personal favorite. Very difficult to acquire as it is the first we have found in five years. Only minor touch up to the fold areas was required during linen backing. This poster is
100% Original Un-Restored
. . What is also nice about that is
on the back is the visible original studio NSS stamp which many collectors like to see for that additional layer of authenticity.    It has been about 8 years since we had this Beatles treasure!
It is in very good-excellent condition
!
. Has some expected border wear, pinholes and a small chip out of the lower left corner tip from actual Theater use in 1968 to promote this iconic Beatles film.
That said it is in quite nice condition for its 50 years..
The
most impressive artwork of all the Beatles movie posters and of most any poster of the 60's era.  Artwork by famous artist Peter Max

Beatles vintage original movie posters are highly sought after, and the values continue to skyrocket.
Yellow Submarine (United Artists, 1968).
One Sheet (27" X 41"). After making two feature films and a disappointing TV special, the Beatles - John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr - were less than enthusiastic about participating in another movie, but saw this animated feature as a relatively painless way to fulfill their contractual obligations. When the Fab Four saw a rough cut of this charming animated fable, however, they were so impressed that they agreed to film a live action sequence for the film's end.
Reminiscent of the psychedelic stylings of 1960s icon Peter Max
, the movie tells the story of the Beatles' quest to free the peaceful Pepperland from the influence of the evil Blue Meanies. Of course, like the Lads previous films, this was primarily a showcase for their music, including such hit songs as "All You Need is Love," "Eleanor Rigby," "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds," "When I'm Sixty-Four," and the title track. Offered here is a beautiful one sheet from this popular film.
