    I just purchased this Bohemian style Czech art glass vase from a local estate here in Central Virginia. The piece is characteristic of the 24% Lead Crystal flashed / cased cut to clear produced by a number of premier glassworks working in the Czech Republic, as well as, Poland (Irena). The large form is beautifully executed with rich Cranberry exterior hand cut in an intricate Moon and Star pattern. The piece has a striking presence measuring 10" high, 8" across the top rim and 4 ½" across the star base. The vase is in excellent condition with no damage. The interior shows excellent clarity with no wear, it appears unused and gently stored. This lovely cranberry vase would make a fine addition to your collection of Bohemian style Czech cased cut-to-clear art glass.
