This accordion is outstanding sounding, and in excellent condition for its age. Musette sound is wet and beautiful. Very heavy duty, plays easy and is top of the line, in my opinion. An Elka of this quality is RARE - look around, you won’t find many, if any. (I don’t think many high end Elka’s like this were made. This accordion is made in Italy.)
It has been played lightly and well cared for. I’m getting older (in my 60s with shoulder issues) and quite frankly it’s one of my most solid and well made heavier accordions…. So I think a younger player needs it who can more easily handle this beautiful & powerful accordion!
Comes with a quality, well padded gig carrying bag. There are just a few minor scuffs on the body, barely visible. Has a body-side relief pad. (See photo). The only cosmetic issue of note is a hairline scratch on the E key (I think from someone’s ring - i got it that way - see photo), but it’s not very visible, and certainly does not affect the integrity or playability of the instrument.
