  • Condition: Accordion is used but obviously it was a well cared for instrument. The bellows have good compression. Most leathers are straight several on the bass side were curled. There was a chip on one of the reed blocks right above a reed it was taped and I re taped it this should be filled at some point it is working. All notes sound on the pull and the push. A few of the very lowest treble notes are sour and need tuning. Other than those it sounds pretty much in tune to my ears. The leather shoulder straps are useable. It is absolutely playable but it is possible that minor repairs/tuning /cleaning might be needed to make it 100% or to suit the needs of some players so I am selling it in used condition as is. Awesome Super rare Vintage 4 & 5 reeds accordion at a reasonable price. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. Take a good look at the pictures quality accordions like this are hard to find. This only weighs 19lbs on my scale Wow...

    F.PIATANESI CHICAGO  120  BASS ACCORDION 4/5  REEDS THIS IS A RARE  ACCORDION THAT IS PREEY CLOSE TO BEING READY TO PLAY FOR MOST.
    Instrument Made in Italy I would guess. The fancy trim is well done I am not sure if this was done at the factory or later the work is really nice.  It is a nice accordion and ready to play for most players. It may have been overhauled but not real recent but  it is in fairly good playing condition and should satisfy most players   This is a quality accordion that might need a look by a pro tech to get all things perfect. But I found it has a nice tone and would be ready to play for most players. I can do a in hand test if you want me to give you a call.
