Description

This is an original, folded, 1 sheet movie poster, 27 x 41, for the 1950's Re-Release of the Lon Chaney Jr. and Bela Lugosi classic movie "Ghost Of Frankenstein."
Note: This is a very rare military one sheet of this classic movie. Military one sheets were printed at the same time as the regular U.S. one sheets, but were made to be used at military installations. This led to a very limited number of the posters being printed and surviving, as they were passed around from military base to base with the film. We are aware of only about a dozen of these posters surviving.
This very rare poster is in really nice un-restored shape with some edge, fold seam and handling wear, some center fold seam wear with a bit of minor separation, some edge and corner dings and bends, a few minor edge scuffs, some spots of border fold seam separations, several spots of poster body bends with fold seams, and an extra vertical fold seam at the center from prior mis-folding. Overall, this poster is in very nice shape with fantastic images and graphics and sharp colors. I would grade this poster a 6, on a 1 to 10 scale.
