This box was custom tuned by Mario Mosti. The original LMMH reeds were replaced with Binci Handmade Reeds in the LMMM arrangement.
M0 + M1 = Very Powerful Cleveland Polka Sound. This box is LOUD!
M0 + M2 = Coarse tuning that is authentic for Irish/Celtic tones
M1 + M2 = Less Coarse, Sweeter, Ideal for Eastern European, Italian and Continental flavor
M0 + M1 +M2 = A truly authentic French tone. This is a winner for those hunting out the "Musette" tone.
Bassoon Reed - Jazz players will not be disappointed. The Bassoon reeds are deep and expressive. Playing full chords does not rob the bellows of air and their is plenty on tap.
A lot of players speak about "Musette", but really there is no such thing. The warble/tremolo/cutting edge of certain accordion tunings is nothing more that the craftsman/tuner placing the different Clarinet reed blocks out of tune with each other. In this accordion I listed the Clarinet reed combinations, also called Middle reeds as M0, M1 and M2.
M0 is tuned exactly on the A440 pitch
M1 is tuned very slightly flat
M2 is tunes a bit aggressively sharp.
By choosing the different combinations of these middle reeds the player will get an unusually wide palette of tones making this one of the most versatile accordions you will ever come across
This accordion never left my home and was kept in a smoke-free, humidity controlled environment.
All mechanical components operate flawlessly and are lubricated and adjusted properly
The Bellows are 100% air tight, there are no cracks or dings and the moisture content of this section is perfect giving a pliable, silent, dependable control of air/volume
The reed blocks are clean, the reeds 100% free of debris, pits or corrosion, and the leathers are as new ones.
This accordion has 11 treble switches with the master repeated twice. It also offers 7 Bass switches and a palm master.

The red and silver combination is absolutely stunning, and the accordion looks as good as it sounds. I am selling it because I have several Giuliettis and one of them is almost identical to this one, save that it is tuned for Jazz and has a tone chamber.
