Heathkit IT-12 Signal Tracer - Works but…

Heathkit IT-12 Signal Tracer - Works but…. is missing the probe. The wires that connect the probe are inside and hanging loose, as can be seen in one of the photos. The original hole for the probe cable has been enlarged and is filled with a hole plug. You will need a larger grommet than was originally installed.
The unit works insofar as it makes a loud buzz when the probe cable is touched with a finger, so clearly, the amplifier is working.
The two front panel slide switches are a little stiff but do work. All other controls operate smoothly.
B+ seems about right.
The 1629 eye tube is weak. The photo was taken in low light, which makes it look brighter than it is. You’ll probably want to replace it. 1629 tubes are plentiful.
The front panel has some minor marks (near the slide switches). These may clean off. I made no attempt to clean it up.
There are no dents or extra holes in the cabinet.
