  • Condition: This original movie Lobby Card exhibits vibrant colors with great detail of the images on a very clean background. The flaws that exist are generally unobtrusive or occur along the borders. There is writing on the bottom right "56-98". Meaning the 98th original poster/Lobby Card issued by NSS in 1956. There is a 1/2" vertical tear on the bottom border under the "E" in "..SCOPE". There is a crease mark on the left border to the left of "FILMED IN". Faint creasing at the top left corner/border. There is a 2" faint crease/tear on the bottom between and through the "B" and "O" in "BODY". There is a faint smudge to the left of this 2" crease/tear. There is light smudging on the bottom right under the "E" in "SNATCHERS" to the "Y" in "McCarthy". There is a faint line on the bottom right to the right of "Wynter". Tape on the reverse to repair tear.There are no pin holes and no soiling. There is no loss of paper or color. Low gloss. Classic!!! Please review the photos carefully.

    It is the Lobby Card of the 4 of them finding the pods in the greenhouse.  It was used by
    Allied Artists
    to promote this movie when it was released in 1956.  It is not a reprint nor a reproduction.  The movie stars
    Kevin McCarthy, Dana Wynter
    , Larry Gates, King Donovan, Carolyn Jones, Jean Willes, Ralph Dumke, and
    Sam Peckinpah
    .  It was directed by Don Siegel.
    This unrestored movie Lobby Card measures 11" x 14".
    It comes with an unattached stiff cardboard backing.
    This original movie Lobby Card is graded C8, Very Fine.
    Original movie Lobby Cards are graded as follows from the top down: C10 (Mint), C9 (Near Mint), C8 (Very Fine), C7 (Fine/Very Fine), C6 (Fine or Very Good), C5 (Good to Very Good), C4 (Good), etc.   The overall appearance of this Lobby Card is very strong and is unfettered by any major flaws.  And the ones that do exist are unobtrusive and/or along the outer border of the Lobby Card.  One must conduct a very close inspection under bright light to see most of these flaws.

    has investment value.  Most movie items from the sci-fi and horror movies of the 1950s and 1960s continue to be popular and grow in demand.  I feel that

    is certainly up there in popularity for fans of that genre, and at least it is truly one of my favorites, if not my favorite one, from that wonderful two decades of B-movies.  And I believe that this Lobby Card, of the 8 from the entire set of
    INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS
    Lobby Cards, may be the best scene.  This scene, of the 4 main players and the 4 who are almost and maybe the only ones not taken over by the Body Snatchers, is certainly a high point in the movie
