This item is a EcoGuide & Star Birds Guide / Pamphlet from Masai Mara at Kichwa Tembo in Kenya. These were published by CC Africa - Conservation Corporation Africa which promotes responsible safaris, wildlife watching and conservation.
I found these among my parent's travel items. They went to Africa back in 2008. I found several of these from their various travels in the region.
The Kichwa Tembo Masai Mara EcoGuide is 36 pages (non-color) and includes a vast array of information about the people, landscape, plants, and animals of the region. There is some light staining on the front & back covers and light edge wear. The stains look like coffee and some bled through the adjacent pages especially along the binding. I flipped through and did not see any other markings, rips, creases or tears.
It measures approx 5 3/4" x 8 1/4."
The Kichwa Tembo Masai Mara Star Birds is a beautiful color pamphlet detailing 10 of the species which can be found bird watching in this area. It measures approx 5 7/8" x 8 1/4." It appears in great condition - no stains, creases, rips or marks.
My parents loved to travel ...My mom loved animals and I know this trip was one of the highlights of her life.

Over the past couple of years, I have been tasked with going through my parent's and
grandparent's possessions - two separate households with items spanning their whole lives. This has been a long, arduous process and will take many years to complete.

With each and every item, I try to supply as much detail as I can whether it is from my recollection / memories, internet research, or by matching it up with other pieces I have found. Each item tells a story for which I am grateful to now be able to document as a way of keeping some of the history of my family which is now gone. I wish I could keep a lot of it but I haven't the room.
