Vintage concertina, made in German Democratic Republic
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS NEEDS REPAIR TO BE FULLY FUNCTIONAL. AS SUCH, THERE ARE NO RETURNS.
2 of the notes play faintly. The notes that are weak are next to each other, in the center of one side.
The paper decoration on the sides shows wear in some places- most notably small tears near the leather closure straps.
Someone has put electrical tape with small foam pads on the handles. I assume these served a purpose and have left them as I found them.
I'm not sure of the production era of this piece, but the German Democratic Republic existed between 1949 and 1990.
When closed, this measures about 9" tall and 9" at the widest.
