A 1957 Re-Release Theatrical Folded Military One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm])
Tall in the Saddle, the 1944 Edwin L. Marin cowboy western romantic love triangle murder mystery melodrama (about a cowboy whose friend sends for him to help stop his cattle from being rustled, but when the cowboy gets there, his friend has been murdered, and no one is willing to help him find the killer, except for two beautiful women, who both have an interest in him!) starring John Wayne, Ella Raines, Ward Bond, George 'Gabby' Hayes, Audrey Long, Elisabeth Risdon, Don Douglas, Emory Parnell, Clem Bevans, Russell Simpson, and Tyrone Shapiro (a rooster that was called "the world's most unusual rooster"!)
Important Added Info: This is a military one-sheet. Military one-sheets were printed at the same time as the regular U.S. one-sheets when the movie was first released. They were made to be used on U.S. military installations. Sometimes the poster has small writing at the bottom that says "For Distribution and Use at U.S. Military Establishments Only", and sometimes they just have "Litho in U.S.A." or "Printed in U.S.A." in small letters in the lower right or lower left (most often, the ones that were used in the 1950s in the Korean War have "Litho in U.S.A.", and the ones that were used in the 1960s in the Vietnam War have "Printed in U.S.A.). This is one of the posters that says "Printed in U.S.A.".
Storyline
When a stranger arrives in a western town he finds that the rancher who sent for him has been murdered. Further, most of the townsfolk seem to be at each other's throats, and the newcomer has soon run contrariwise to most of them.
All posters will shipped rolled even if the poster was folded, refolding the poster could cause damage to the fold lines.
DON'T BE FOOLED, KNOW WHAT YOU ARE BUYING;  AN ORIGINAL MOVIE POSTER IN THE FUTURE WILL BE WORTH MORE THAN A REPRODUCTION THAT WILL BE WORTHLESS!!
