. This is not a reproduction or reissue.
Condition: Fair. Originally folded. Mild fold wear. White tape on the top third of the poster. Tape marks on the borders. Mild indentation along the borders. No pinholes.
Window cards were introduced in the 1910s and were displayed at locations outside of the theater around the community such as store windows, telephone poles, etc....Theaters would normally purchase the cards in bulk and because so many were needed, they were printed using a cheaper process than the standard poster. The top blank border was used by theaters to write dates and show times. Window cards were phased out around the mid-1980s.
