Description
RARE - Scholer Concertina - "Germany USSR Occupied" is written into the top of this instrument which dates it between 1945-1949.The model which I believe to be on the side of the box says, "Nr. CHU100" (after that there is pen scribbling on the box).
Condition: Cosmetically the instrument shows EXTREMELY NICELY!!! It plays (not an instrument / tuning person but it produces music). Buttons are all present and accounted for. Original straps are both present. No cracks in the bellows. Very nice looking. Needs a little bit of TLC for clean up. Original box shows the most wear - mainly on the edges. The top cover has split on one corner. There is writing on the side of the box "RUBY" and also around the model number is pen. Color wear on the box and stains. See photos for details.
I would bet it would be HARD to FIND an Scholer Concertina in this shape with it's original box that is in this great of a condition!!!
Stored in a clean, smoke-free home.
