FAEMI is a single-voice multi-timbral electric musical instrument designed for performance of all kinds of musical works on it. It can be used as a solo instrument and in small amateur ensembles.
The keyboard of the instrument contains 3 octaves from "Fa" to "Mi" inclusive. The width of the keys and their placement are consistent with the accordion keyboard. Faemi's pitch range is 6 octaves and allows you to reproduce any note of a twelve-step time-scaled scale ranging from "Fa" of the controctave to "Mi" of the fourth octave. Overlapping of the specified range is provided by alternately turning on four main register keyswitches 5, 6, 7 or 8. Together, turning on these switches one, two, three and four in different combinations, and also in combination with an additional register switch (fourth from the left) you can get 19 different sound options, differing in height and timbre. This gives the performer great opportunities, allowing him to imitate the sound of some well-known musical instruments, as well as create new original voices directly in the process of musical performance.
