    Description

    Tektronix Type 284 pulse generator S/N B071085.
    I've repaired the power supply on this unit several years back and have verified that the tunnel diode is strong.
    Please note that none of the other equipment I'm using in these photos has had it's calibration checked in years.
    It is functional, as shown in the photos, but in order for it to be brought into spec it will need additional repairs. From what I remember, the custom resistor that cannot be replaced is out of spec and some circuit modifications will be necessary to the TD Bias Driver circuit, possibly among other things, in order to bring it back into spec. If you're seriously considering buying this unit, you probably already know what I'm talking about and know where that information is located.
    The purchase will include the two GR874-QBJA adapters, but will not include the power cord. I need to keep the one power cord that I have now in order to check and list other equipment that has a shrouded male connector.
