My product is better than what is available for anywhere near the price! I started experimenting with
High-temperature Superconductors back in 2016 and after almost 5 years I'm ready to share my results with the world.
Each and every YBCO puck has been lovingly baked under oxygen flow for almost 4 days at temps that melt glass before it got to you.
While the pucks might not have flawless appearance (some minor surface imperfections due to firing), I will stand behind their levitation.
Rectangle magnets shown for demo but are not included.
Levitation was about 20 seconds after removal from Liquid Nitrogen and I believe infinite while in it!
Included in this kit:
1 YBCO Puck- 1" x .20 (25 mm x 5mm)
1 Pair Plastic Forceps
1 Custom Insulated Plastic Display Dish
1 1/2 (13 mm) Inch round disk magnet
1 1/4 (6 mm) Inch cube magnet
1 small and 1 large zip lock bag for storage.
1 sheet of instructions/usage/classroom suggestions info.
Liquid Nitrogen not included and is available through welding/ gas supply shops- check on availability and requirements in your area.
For those super superconductivity fans- If you need a large custom plate or raw powder contact me for a quote, it won't be as inexpensive as this but it might be possible. These pucks are not surface treated so pure polycrystalline YBCO. Compare $$ to chemical suppliers at over 0
