    Description

    This old car/vehicle clock is
    nice
condition. I believe that this wind up clock dates from the early 1900's, and I am sure you will know. Included here is
    (1) Waltham Auto /vehicle manual wind Clock
    of long ago. The c
lock measures about 3-1/4" across its outer diameter. This clock was likely once mounted in an auto, as there are two threaded studs firmly intact on the backside. The face and inside is marked Waltham 8-day, and a working clock is difficult to find. The bevel glass face lens is clean and also present. The winder works smoothly, and there is a strong spring wind mechanism within that looks to be perfectly functioning. The time can be set smoothly. All hands move and this looks to keep time. It is ticking away as I write this, with the second hand and others moving well.
The factory black and white painted face shows just slight scattered paint wear on the hands. The white letters are bright and clean. The backside is nice and strong also with a smoothly rotating back cover that can be screwed open and screwed closed.
I do see general signs of age, micro scuffing on the glass, and micro crazing on the black background.
My 12 closeup photos are very true to life. Hopefully someone needs this to complete their collection. Too cool to pass up! Guaranteed 100% old and original. A must for the old Garage or Auto Clock collector. Buyer pays .00 carefully boxed shipping within the U.S. **
